Callaway SteelHead XR Irons (Graphite Shaft)

Callaway have modelled the SteelHead XR iron on one of their most popular models ever, the Callaway X-14. Compared to the previous XR model the new SteelHead XR features a longer blade length, a more rounded toe area and the excellent S2H2 hosel system.

360 Cup Face Technology - A new Cup Face technology increases the consistency of the face flex and energy release at impact to give you explosive ball speeds that means…..more distance especially on off centre strikes. 
Increased Feel and Higher Launch - A layer of steel-infused Polyurethane has been positioned in the lower face to absorb vibration and lowers the CG for a faster ball speed and a higher more forgiving ball flight.
Hollow-Bore Thru Hosel - This design helps save and reposition weight in the head where it can be used to produce more consistent strikes across the whole face and make it easier to launch the ball.
Progressive CG Positioning - Allows the set to become progressive, the long irons have an extremely low and back CG for improved launch and carry conditions, the mid irons have a low back CG for easy launch and distance control and the short irons a have a low, middle CG to deliver a soft landing ball flight that will allow you to attack pins. 

To help maximise all round performance right through the set Callaway have fitted the Matrix F15 graphite shaft as standard. This shaft will help increase feel, provide a consistent flight and feel effortless to swing.
