A multi-material construction has been used to save weight and lower the CG which in turn will give you an incredible easy ball flight with added stability for increased forgiveness. The head has been made from a 6-layer carbon crown and a stainless steel body and face.

The 455 stainless steel face features TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone technology for the first time, Inverted Cone technology helps to protect the enormously fast ball speeds across the whole face whilst providing incredible distances that will transform your long game.

TaylorMade have re-engineered the Speed Pocket to produce more face flex on low-face shots for improved carry distances as well as reducing back spin to max out the overall distances. 

TaylorMade have developed a technology called GEOCOUSTIC which is an advanced sole technology that enables the club face expansion for added forgiveness on tee shots. External sound ribs have also been used in the design of the multi-material head to optimise vibration that leads to excellent sound and feel.
