Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2 Putter

Three-tiered contours run smoothly from the thinner topline and allow the main focus to be on the single sightline directly behind the centre of the blade. The thinner top line has been used because it gives it the ‘Tour-preferred’ look that players want. 

Scotty Cameron have used a stainless steel body with a mid-milled 303 stainless insert. This design enhances the balance of the putter throughout the stroke as well as improving sound, feel and weight distribution. Heel-toe weighting in the sole will improve the stability of the head through impact. These weights are length specific to improve the overall balance and feel of the putter. 

Scotty Cameron have used the popular black Matador putter grip, with a soft, tacky feel that provides enhanced feel and performance. 

SIGHT
With shape refinements to each Select model, Scotty focused on thinning topline appearances by giving each a slightly rounder radius. Plumbing neck dimensions, edges and angles have been squared up for a cleaner look from address.

SOUND
Improved sound and feel are the result of up to 30% more vibration dampening material connecting face inlays with putter bodies.

SOLE
Four-way balanced sole design shifts the balance point of each 2018 Select putter to account for the weight of the shaft and grip and each model’s offset for a putter that sits perfectly square at address and aligns more easily.
